The partners

Four operators.
One team.
Real results.

We bring different perspectives and complementary expertise, but we're united by something more specific than that. We've worked together, delivered together, and earned trust through shared experience in the same high-stakes situations.

What you see here is what you get: senior operators with direct relevant experience who show up, do the work, and leave your company in a stronger position than when they arrived.

Matt brings over 18 years of experience with a proven track record of driving EBITDA growth, operational scale, and strategic value creation across private equity-backed, public, and high-growth life sciences organizations. He is recognized for bridging the gap between finance and operations, translating financial strategy into operational discipline in environments ranging from VC-backed startups to PE-backed enterprises.

Most recently, Matt served as Vice President of Finance and Administration at Sastra Cell Therapy, serving as a CFO-equivalent to guide fundraising, financial infrastructure, and organizational scaling.

Previously, Matt led global finance and transformation initiatives at Abzena and held senior finance leadership roles at Ligand Pharmaceuticals and Enovis (Blackstone PE-backed), where he managed the execution of a two-year strategic operational plan across 10 initiatives, spanning sales, product profitability, outsourcing, reimbursement, receivables and payables, liquidity, and organizational effectiveness, leading to successful M&A activity.

Matt is the partner you want when financial discipline and operational execution need to move together. He brings a rare ability to see both the numbers and the operating system behind them, and to build the structures that make improvement stick.

Matt is a biopharma program and operations leader with 19 years of experience leading programs from diligence and early discovery through regulatory approval and commercialization, across cell therapies, biologics, and other advanced modalities. He is known for making the complex actionable: rapidly synthesizing scientific and business information, identifying what truly matters, and building integrated development plans that allow for actionable execution.

At Atara Biotherapeutics, Matt led the CMC program teams responsible for developing allogeneic T-cell therapies, culminating in the approval of Ebvallo, the world's first approved allogeneic cell therapy. He went on to lead Global Program Management for Atara's CAR-T pipeline, and later served as head of Strategic Planning and Supply Chain, giving him an unusually broad view across the full development and commercial enterprise.

Most recently, Matt served as VP of Portfolio and Program Management at a VC-backed Series A cell therapy company, where he advanced the lead program from initial discovery through Phase 1 submission. Beyond program execution, he played a defining role in company operations and culture: establishing the standards of excellence and high-character leadership that shaped how the team operated at every level.

Earlier in his career, Matt spent nine years at Amgen, including five years in Operations Strategic Planning, where he supported business development and network strategies.

Matt is the partner you want when a program is complex, the stakes are high, and the path forward isn't yet clear. He brings deep technical fluency in CMC and cell therapy development alongside the program management discipline to drive cross-functional teams from early discovery through regulatory submission.

What distinguishes Matt is his ability to operate across levels: equally effective strategizing with senior leadership, leading scientific strategy with R&D, and building the operational infrastructure a growing company needs. Clients engage him not just to run programs, but to raise the standard of how the organization operates.

Aaron brings 15+ years of experience building and scaling life sciences companies across strategy, operations, and finance. He has held senior operating roles across the full company lifecycle, from early-stage startup to commercial-stage biotech, and is recognized for distilling complex organizational challenges into clear, prioritized strategies that deliver results.

Most recently, Aaron served as VP of Operations at a VC-backed cell therapy startup, where he led operations, clinical strategy, fundraising, and key corporate functions through a critical period of company-building.

Prior to that, Aaron spent several years at Atara Biotherapeutics in a series of expanding roles. He served as the initial commercial launch lead for Ebvallo, the world's first approved allogeneic cell therapy, then served as Chief of Staff for the Operations group, overseeing quality reorganization and PAI readiness. He went on to manage four pipeline programs and led the divestiture of Atara's cell therapy manufacturing facility.

Earlier in his career, Aaron spent several years at ZS Associates working with 20+ clients across biologics, small molecule, oncology, and CDMOs. Before that, he held roles in corporate strategy at Baxter and started in private equity and M&A.

Aaron has worked with companies of every size and founder type, across multiple therapeutic areas and modalities. That breadth, combined with operating experience at every stage of the product lifecycle, means he gets to the real problem quickly and helps teams figure out what actually matters. He is equally comfortable in a strategy conversation and a hands-on execution role, and tends to be most useful in moments where the path forward isn't obvious and someone needs to connect the dots across functions.
