Background

Josh has more than 15 years of experience leading global supply chain and manufacturing operations in the biopharmaceutical and cell therapy sectors. Currently with a stealth-mode cell therapy company, he manages strategic partnerships, sourcing, and procurement to ensure seamless delivery of critical materials and optimization of tech transfers.

Previously, Josh held senior leadership roles at Atara Biotherapeutics, where he directed global supply chain operations, launched multiple new product segments, and implemented lean principles and risk management strategies that improved efficiency and compliance.

Earlier in his career at Amgen, he managed regional and global supply chain operations, enhancing delivery performance and mitigating risk across complex networks.

He is recognized for building strong alliances with CDMOs and strategic suppliers, building resilient supply networks, leading high-performing teams, and designing processes that deliver measurable impact across global operations.

 Josh holds an MBA in Strategic Operations from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego.
